Bank Regulatory System Reform Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke talked about reforming the U.S. bank regulatory system in light of the global financial crisis. He said more regulation may be needed for money-market mutual funds, and that lawmakers and regulators should consider added restrictions on assets that money funds can own and a new “limited system of insurance” to protect investors.

He responded to questions from David Rubenstein and members of the audience. close
