Ivan Eland talked about his book Recarving Rushmore: Ranking the Presidents on Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty (Independent Institute; January 9, 2009). In his book Mr. Eland ranks the presidents of the United States based on the level of success each one had in advancing the causes of peace, prosperity and liberty.
