French President G-20 News Conference

At the close of the G-20 summit French President Nicolas Sarkozy spoke to reporters and answered questions about the global financial crisis. In his remarks he praised President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for their efforts at the meeting. He specifically cited President Obama’s efforts to persuade China agree to language recognizing lists of tax havens and helped in creating a consensus.
