A panel discussion was held with some biographers of public figures. Topics included the methodology of biography, why to write another book on a subject, the sources they used, what kind of power their subjects desired, and their leadership. Biographer A. Scott Berg moderated.

Ronald White is the author of A. Lincoln: A Biography (Random House; January 13, 2009). In the book he recounts the life of Abraham Lincoln and added to the former president’s biography via his research of the recently completed Lincoln Legal Papers.
