Joshua Cooper Ramo talked about his book The Age of the Unthinkable: Why the New World Disorder Constantly Surprises Us and What We Can Do About It (Little, Brown and Company; March 23, 2009). In his book he explores the growing strength of forces of disruption in the world. He finds flaws in current thinking on topics ranging from American political influence to the economy. He suggests that people must change from approaching problems as the architects of a system they can control to the role of gardeners in a living ecosystem. He was interviewed on the C-SPAN Civics Bus and responded to telephone calls.
