The House Armed Services Military Personnel Committee held a hearing on the fiscal 2010 budget request for defense health programs.

The President’s budget proposed $27.9 billion for fiscal year 2010. Some of the major issues discussed included department’s health information technology systems, mental health services for servicemen and women with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as time for soldiers between deployment known as dwell time. close
