Luci Baines Johnson and Lynda Johnson Robb, the daughters of former president Lyndon Baines Johnson, talked about their memories of their father’s presidency as part of the Lyndon B. Johnson Distinguished Lecture marking the 100th anniversary of his birth. Topics included the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, the 1964 presidential campaign, the Voting Rights Act, and meeting former president Harry Truman, poet Carl Sandburg, and Pope Paul.
