Michael Doyle spoke about President Obama’s nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor as a replacement for Justice David Souter on the U.S. Supreme Court. The announcement, made earlier in the day, was shown as part of the special program and Mr. Doyle responded to telephone calls and questions sent electronically. He spoke about Judge Sotomayor’s career, her decisions as an appeals court judge, and reaction to the nomination by various interest groups and lawmakers.
