Tony Blair on Middle East Peace Process
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair testified before the British Foreign Affairs committee on recent developments in the Middle East peace process. Mr. Blair is currently the representative for the Middle East Quartet, which is comprised of the European Union, Russia, the U.S. and the United Nations. During the two-hour hearing, the former prime minister talked about the challenges facing the two-state solution in Israel and Palestine. He also talked about the role of the new U.S. and Israeli governments and Iran’s position and influence on the two-state solution. close
