Stacey Lewis talked about the City Lights Publishers releases for fall 2009. She mentioned The Meaning of Freedom by Angela Y. Davis and Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, Written by Himself: A New Critical Edition by Angela Y. Davis by Frederick Douglass and Angela Y. Davis; The Awakener: A Memoir of Jack Kerouac and the Fifties by Helen Weaver; and The Peep Diaries: How We’re Learning to Love Watching Ourselves and Our Neighbors by Hal Niedzviecki.
