President Obama spoke at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and was joined by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and other dignitaries. The cemetery overlooks Omaha Beach, one of the main landing points for U.S. troops in France during World War II on June 6, 1944. close
