President Obama spoke to reporters about his economic stimulus program at a photo opportunity at a Cabinet meeting. He said the stimulus proposals would save or create an additional 600,000 jobs over the summer as the federal government spent billions to expand care at health centers, improve national parks, hire teachers and improve military facilities. Vice President Biden also spoke about the stimulus program at the event. close
