A panel discussion was held by veterans of World War II. Tim Rives opened the program by reading a letter in honor of the event from General John S.D. Eisenhower, a World War II veteran and son of General Dwight D. Eisenhower. Moderated by William McKale, the veterans talked about what motivated them to join the military, their life in the military, assessment of leadership, and how long they stayed in the military after victory. Mr. Ehlers was then asked how he received the Medal of Honor. close
