Ambassador at Large De Baca spoke to reporters and answered questions about the State Department’s annual “Trafficking in Persons Report.” The report released that morning included several new countries on the list of those liable for sanctions for illegal trafficking. New countries cited for human trafficking problems include Angola, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iraq, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Pakistan, the Philippines, Qatar, Senegal and the United Arab Emirates. close
