AJ Schnack, Dana Flor, and Toby Oppenheimer talked with high school students from across the nation about their documentary films that were selected for the Silverdocs Film Festival. Among the topics they discussed were the process of putting together a documentary, the 2008 Democratic Convention, and former mayor of Washington, D.C., Marion Barry.

A.J. Schnack, author and editor of the blog “All These Wonderful Things” is the director of Convention, a behind-the-scenes look at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver. Dana Flor and Toby Oppenheimer are the co-directors of The Nine Lives of Marion Barry, a biography of the former District of Columbia mayor. close
