Panelists participated in a discussion on the upcoming Obama-Medvedev U.S.-Russia summit. Among the topics they discussed were Russia’s foreign policy towards its neighbors, the role of NATO in the Russian spheres of influence, oil and energy policy, arms control and economic/tax law.

Ariel Cohen stated the need to “lower expectations” for the summit. Following their remarks, panelists responded to audience members' questions. Peter Brookes moderated.
