Thomas Woods talked about his book Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Government Bailouts Will Make Things Worse (Regnery Publishing; February 9, 2009). In his book, the author provides an analysis of the financial market’s degeneration from a conservative perspective. He talked about the faults of the Federal Reserve system, the fallacy of using economic stimulus plans as possible solutions to the current economic situation, and the effect of interest rates on the economy as he talked about the economic theories of F.A. Hayek and Ludwig Von Mises.
