Harold Holzer spoke about how President Barack Obama used President Abraham Lincoln as an inspiration and he talked about parallels between the histories of the two presidents. He talked about the purpose of the work of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission. Mr. Holzer also focused on Abraham Lincoln’s experiences growing up in Indiana and talked about the first major speech after his election, which was delivered in Indianapolis.
