Steven Cochrane talked about a report from Moody’s Investor Services which concludes that “for many reasons, the rebound in housing prices will be disproportionately small compared to the decline. It will take more than a decade to completely recover from the 40% peak-to-trough decline in national home prices.” He also discussed which regions of the U.S. will be particularly hard-hit, and implications that this trend will have on the overall economy. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Mr. Cochrane participated by remote access from West Chester, Pennsylvania.

C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the end of the program. close
