The House voted to triple the amount of non-military aid to Pakistan, raising it to $7.5 billion over the upcoming five years with an option to renew. Members also approved a plan to evaluate Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts by appointing an independent examiner who would assess project effectiveness. The bill also requires annual financial reports from the Office of Management and Budget. close
