In light of recent violent attacks by Pakistan militants and the presence of the Taliban in the country, Hassan Abbas talked about concerns about Pakistan’s security and what that means for policy dealing with that country and its neighbor, Afghanistan. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Mr. Abbas is a former Pakistani government official who served in the administrations of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto (1995-1996) and President Pervez Musharraf (1999-2000). close
