Kira Gale talked about the book she co-wrote, The Death of Meriwether Lewis: A Historic Crime Scene Investigation (River Junction Press; April 1, 2009). In the book the authors examine the death of Meriweather Lewis on October 11, 1809. Officially accepted as suicide, his death had always been controversial and an exhumation of his body for a forensic examination long called for. She responded to questions from members of the audience.
