Frank Luntz talked about his book What Americans Really Want...Really: The Truth About Our Hopes, Dreams, and Fears (Hyperion; September 15, 2009), which explores the five things people want most in their lives. Based on interviews with over 25,000 people, in his book Mr. Luntz provides an analysis of how Americans live their lives and what they believe. Mr. Luntz showed slides throughout his presentation. Topics included the public policy implications of Americans' desires and what actions the public can take to reach their goals. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
