Norman Podhoretz talked about his book Why Are Jews Liberals? (Doubleday; September 8, 2009). In his book the former editor-in-chief of Commentary magazine attempts to answer the question that he says he has been asked more often than any other during four decades in journalism: why are Jews liberals? He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications from viewers who had just seen his presentation at the Miami Book Fair International. He was interviewed by remote video from the BookTV studios.

This interview took place on Sunday, November 15, 2009, while at the 26th Miami Book Fair International at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus.
