Anthony Pitch talked about his book ["They Have Killed Papa Dead!": The Road to Ford’s Theatre, Abraham Lincoln’s Murder, and the Rage for Vengeance (Steerforth; December 30, 2008), released in paperback that day. In the book he chronicles the history of the plots against President Lincoln, the successful assassination, and the aftermath.

He was interviewed at the 32nd Annual National Press Club Book Fair and Authors' Night, a fundraiser for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. close
