Martha Coakley Concession Speech
For the first time in 31 years a republican will represent the commonwealth of Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate. State Senator Scott Brown (R) won 52 to 47 over his opponents, State Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) and Joe Kennedy (I). This breaks the Democratic 60-vote, filibuster-proof majority.
