He grew up in Seattle, Washington, and was relocated to Minidoka War Relocation Center in Idaho during World War II. After the war Mr. Horiuchi joined the foreign service and married the daughter of a U.S. admiral. He recalled his family’s immigrant experience from Japan and his pre-war life in Seattle.

Lucius Horiuchi was interviewed. He grew up in Seattle, Washington, and was relocated to Minidoka War Relocation Center in Idaho during World War II.
