Letters to Jackie
Ellen Fitzpatrick, history professor at the University of New Hampshire, presents a collection of 250 condolence letters sent to Jacqueline Kennedy following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The author culled her selections from over 1.5 million letters that were sent to the former first lady in the first two years following the president’s death and had been kept mostly untouched. Ellen Fitzpatrick presented her book at The 6th Floor Museum in Dallas. close
