Robert Sloan talked about his recent opinion Financial Times opinion piece, “The Bankers Need to Fight Back.” He said that Wall Street must demonstrate that its function is central to America’s capitalism, democracy, and philosophical heritage. He further argued that the anti-Wall Street sentiment that began with the Great Depression fostered legislation that crippled Wall Street. Mr. Sloan also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
