Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Gary Roughead spoke at a ceremony commemorating the 68th anniversary of the Battle of Midway where nine survivors of the battle were honored. More than 1,000 sailors assembled at the Navy Memorial on June 4, 2010, to commemorate the June 4-7, 1942, battle that was the turning point in the Pacific Theatre of World War II.
