Ariel Dorfman in Conversation with Gabriel Sanders
This event of the 2010 PEN World Voices Festival in New York City was co-sponsored by the Museum of Jewish Heritage, where it was held on May 2, 2010.
Ariel Dorfman talked about his life and work in art and politics. A Chilean-American poet, novelist, playwright, human rights activist, he was part of Salvador Allende’s government in Chile but was deported by the Pinochet administration. Mr. Dorfman was interviewed by Gabriel Sanders and also responded to questions from members of the audience.
