Community health center (CHC) officials talked about their experiences working in CHCs. CHCs received $2 billion in the economic stimulus bill, and were scheduled for an additional $11 billion over the next five years once provisions in the new health care law began. Ellen-Marie Whelan began the program with a presentation of the findings of her report on the economic impact of CHCs on their communities. Following their discussion, panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. close
