Kevin Sweeney talked about home life during the Revolutionary War era. Professor Sweeney spoke about changing attitudes towards “consumerism” in this era which helped usher in a “different” type of American Revolution. He referred to the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, Connecticut, which offers a glimpse at life among the colonial elites during the Eighteenth century, and showed many slides. He also responded to questions from members of the audience.
