Jody Powell, a Carter administration press secretary, was heard talking about how the Camp David Accords were reached. Scenes were shown in the background from various dates and places, including in Washington, D.C., Camp David, and a September 10, 1978, trip to Gettysburg National Military Park. Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, facilitated by President Carter, negotiated the accords during twelve days at Camp David.
