Telephone lines were open for comments on the laws for inspecting packages on cargo planes. On October 29, 2010 cargo planes and trucks in several U.S. cities were inspected after investigators found suspicious packages in at least two locations abroad. U.S. officials believe that al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, commonly referred to as AQAP, is behind the plot.
