Members of the independent Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee sponsored by the American Enterprise Institute talked about their proposals to change the Dodd-Frank Act, the financial regulatory bill signed into the law in July 2010. They also discussed the Federal Reserve’s compliance with the law’s transparency provisions of its lending practices to banks. The Committee is a group of independent analysts of financial services industry who meet regularly to study and critique regulatory policies. close
