Former Senator James Buckley (NY-Conservative), a former under secretary of state in the Reagan administration and a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals, argues against the expansion of the federal government and contends that its growth questions the original intent of the framers of the Constitution. Mr. Buckley promotes the concept of federalism and posits that the federal government is unfit to manage the economy. He was interviewed at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., and also responded to questions from members of the audience. close
