Dick Cheney Remarks on President Reagan
Former Vice President Dick Cheney spoke at a celebration of the 100th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s birth. He talked about President Reagan’s legacy, the conservative movement, President Reagan’s leadership style in domestic politics and foreign affairs, as well as his experiences during the Reagan administration. He also commented on unrest in Egypt, urging U.S. leaders to remember that Egyptian President Mubarak was “a good man” and important friend to the United States and said he hoped that the Obama administration would seek “balance” in its approach to the fast-moving events across the Middle East. close
