Balkan leaders participated in a discussion about progress made in the region since the signing of the Dayton Accords in December 1995. They examined how economic development and further integration with Europe can help create jobs and enhance prosperity in Bosnia, thereby further enhancing peace. Christiane Amanpour moderated. Former President Clinton introduced the panel and spoke about the anniversary of the accords. He also made concluding remarks about government and private cooperation and development. He announced that the first Clinton Global Initiative of the year was City Year’s commitment to host a delegation of Bosnian youth leaders.
