Terence Samuel talked about the latest news regarding congressional efforts to pass a continuing resolution to fund the government through the end of fiscal year 2011. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Clips of interviews were shown of House Budget Committee Ranking Member Chris Van Hollen and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor speaking about attempts to reach a compromise before the March 4 deadline for avoiding a government shutdown were shown.
