The National Association of Business Economics 27th Annual Economic Policy Conference, “Balancing Austerity and Growth: Delivering Policies That Work” was held at the Key Bridge Marriot in Arlington, Virginia.
Undersecretary Robert Hormats delivered the luncheon keynote address at a policy conference focusing on key economic policies, challenges, and trends in the global economy. In his remarks he said the U.S. needs to invest in education, infrastructure, and innovation to become globally competitive. He argued in favor of a national energy policy.
