Joseph Nye talked about the changing nature of power in global affairs. He argued that in the future, military and economic power would have competition in the digital age.

On February 15, 2011, Center for a New American Security hosted University Distinguished Service Professor Nye for a luncheon discussion on his new book, The Future of Power, with CNAS staff. This event included former and current participants in the Joseph S. Nye Jr. National Security Internship program at CNAS, which was established in honor of Dr. Nye, who has devoted his career to the preparation and mentoring of generations of American and global strategists. He is a former dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. close
