Admiral James Stavridis and General Robert Kehler testified on U.S. military operations in Libya. In his remarks Admiral Stavridis said that intelligence reports on the Libyan opposition included “flickers” of al-Qaida and other terrorist groups, but did not show indications that they were a part of the Libyan opposition. On the U.S. policy of regime change he said the NATO mission would eventually allow the people of Libya to achieve that goal. close
