Ted Fishman talked about his book, Shock of Gray: The Aging of the World’s Population and How It Pits Young Against Old, Child Against Parent, Worker Against Boss, Company Against Rival, and Nation Against Nation, in conversation with Jerome McDonnell, host of WBEZ’s “Worldview.” In his book he assesses what the world would be like in 2030, when one billion people would be over the age of 65 and the number of people over 50 would, for the first time ever, outnumber people under 17. Mr. Fishman also responded to questions from members of the audience.
