Douglas Bostick spoke about South Carolina’s role in the American Revolution. His address was in White Point Gardens in Battery Park, the terminus of the Carolina Day parade from Washington Park. Carolina Day has been celebrated since the 1777 to commemorate the Battle of Sullivan’s Island on June 28, 1776.
