National Governor's Association 2011 Annual Meeting
This was part of the National Governor’s Association annual meeting. The 2011 conference focused the states' role in supporting education, promoting innovation, and increasing U.S. global competitiveness.
Governors Jan Brewer (R-AZ) and Martin O’Malley (D-MD), co-chairs of the National Governors Association Special Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety, spoke at the National Governors Association discussion in remembrance of the terrorist attacks of September, 11, 2011, as well as U.S. border protection and communities. Other speakers included David Aguilar and Stephen Flynn.
