Authors talked about their books and papers on the expectations and realities of the Obama administration. Topics included the importance of race in the political and social landscape, domestic policy and social justice issues, and the role and impact of a black first lady and family. Professor Cunnigen moderated. They also responded to questions from members of the audience.
