In 1972 Senator George McGovern (D-SD) was the Democratic presidential nominee running against the incumbent President Richard Nixon. He talked about his presidential campaigns in 1968 and 1972, what it was like to run against President Nixon, and his early attempts to make the Watergate scandal known.
