The American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten and American Enterprise Insitute Education Policy Director Frederick Hess debated reforms affecting teachers. They discussed at length Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s move to end collective bargaining for teachers. Other topics included the effects of state budgets on teachers, health care and pensions, and performance measurement of both students and teachers.
