John Crouch and Nelson Garcia talked about the intent of no-fault divorce law and federal policy implications. Ronald Reagan signed a no-fault divorce law on Sept. 4, 1969, in California, the first state to replace “fault” in divorce with “irreconcilable differences.” The Washington Times reported that within 15 years of the change, every U.S. state followed suit in some way. Mr. Crouch and Mr. Garcia also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. close
